FAQ
Can I bring my dog? What about my kids?!
Unfortunately, we have a massive family and the venue has a capacity! So, no kids or dogs are welcomed at the ceremony or reception aside from the wedding party. Take the night off!

Dress Code?
Mountain Cowboy Classy
What the hell is that?
Something comfortable! Be sure to dress in layers, as you never know what to expect with summertime in the mountains. Meaning, bring sunglasses and a jacket for sure!
The ceremony is outdoors with a mountain vista - so, ladies, wedges are definitely preferred over heels, but sandals or cowboy boots are great options, too. Think semi-formal, cocktail-style dress.
Men, dress pants or even nice jeans with a dress shirt will be just fine. Ties are not necessary, but a bolo or silk scarf may suit the occasion.
The Bride
Rosie White grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She studied at the University of Illinois before interning for a non-profit in Chicago, then heading off to Colorado “for one ski season.” She and Brett own & operate The Tabernash Honey Company in their spare time, while her main focus is raising August and working for Shining Stars Foundation.
The Groom
Brett Gingery was born and raised in Grand County, Colorado. He studied diesel mechanics in college and subsequently collected enough diesel vehicles to keep himself very busy. In addition to equipment operator, Brett is a Dad, a Realtor, a rancher, a beekeeper, and a gardener- among various other careers and pursuits.
The Tale
Rosie and Brett first met in 2013, when Rosie started working for Shining Stars Foundation. Brett’s mom, Kathy, is the founder and CEO of Shining Stars, and always kept her eternally single son in the back of her mind when hiring.
When Rosie got the job, she excitedly mentioned to a local chatterbox that her “first day was tomorrow,” to which the busybody replied, “Oh, the director’s son is really hot.”
Rosie, always one to look presentable, spent a little extra time on her outfit, her hair, and her makeup before her first day, in anticipation of meeting the hot son. Imagine her surprise when Brett walked in and introduced himself - unshaven in greasy Carhartt jeans and a ripped and stained work shirt, pre-Lasik with darkened transition glasses. His signature hairstyle at the time was, “stuck a fork in an electrical socket.” While the first impression left a little to be desired, Rosie soon came to begrudgingly agree with the busy body- Brett was hot.
Brett must have felt the same way, as he would casually invite Rosie to hang out almost every weekend for months until she finally agreed to their first outing- a beekeeping trip west with a first-class seat in Brett’s airplane!
Ever since that first flight, Rosie and Brett have been moving through life side-by-side. From bees to babies, from Bangkok to Seattle, these two have been through it all together and can’t wait to make it official in July.
